Ice Pilots

With over 30 years of experience, our Qualified Master Mariner Ice Pilots have successfully assisted Masters and crews on expeditions to Svalbard, Greenland, The North West Passage, Antarctica and South Georgia.

Vessel Preparation

Preparing for polar voyages requires months of pre-planning. We can assist with preparing your vessel and crew for high-latitude cruising.

Permits

With over 20 seasons in the ice operating with a number of different vessels, Flag States, and areas of operation, we understand the requirements and regulations of each different polar area. 

 

Ice Break Consulting can provide you with regulation guides, destination manuals, and assist with gaining the relevant approvals for expeditions.
